Titan Elevators does its bit for Climate Week

Last week saw Britain’s largest climate change campaign – Climate Week. Climate Week consists of a week of activities organised to raise awareness of issues for industries as well as society as a whole surrounding climate change.

There is ever increasing damage done to the planet due to overuse and unsustainability of the limited natural resources afforded to us as a species. It’s something that every single one of us should be aware of and should inspire us to work together to build a better future. It should be the aim of mankind to leave the planet in a better state than when we inherited it. Some of these issues, of course, affect Titan Elevators as a lift company.

We are committed to the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) task – our new environmental policy outlines the approaches we are taking to reduce our carbon footprint whilst still providing a quality of service that is second to none within the elevation industry.

Some of these approaches include using recycled and reclaimed materials wherever possible throughout our new headquarters in Sidcup. In addition, energy saving equipment, such as light bulbs throughout our office, allows Titan to not only be ecologically sound, but also reduce overheads in the long run. It is simply not sustainable or good financial sense to ignore the environmental issues facing us today.

Here at Titan Elevators, we enjoy the chance to help raise awareness of these issues and involve ourselves in activities organised with climate change in mind – from sponsored events to simply swapping unwanted items such as DVDs, toys and books – everyone can do their bit.

Find out how you can help address climate change issues facing us today and read about ClimateWeek.
